Outgrowordinary.

Build bigger than your role.View open rolesSee what that means

This is what the place asks of you.

Own more than your title.

Nobody here has a lane drawn around them. You will be handed problems bigger than your job description, and often carry what used to be a team's scope. The only thing deciding what you own is what you can carry.

Learn faster than feels comfortable.

You will spend a lot of time being the least experienced person in the room on whatever you are doing that week. Pressure-test ideas quickly, shorten feedback loops, and learn faster than experience usually allows.

Build before everything is obvious.

Waiting for a complete brief is how good ideas die slowly. Start with a sentence, get to something real while the thought is still warm, and let what comes back decide the next move.

Work with people who care.

Everyone here is unreasonably invested in the thing they are making. People care enough to move fast, challenge each other honestly, and keep pushing until the work feels right.

These are the people who work like that.

Life at Outbox

Good work is serious.

That does not mean everything around it has to be.

The work matters.

So do the people you do it with.

And this is how the work actually gets made.

Build with AI

AI changes what one person can build.

It is not a tool the team picks up occasionally. It is in the middle of how people here think, make and decide, which is why small teams get to take on problems that used to need departments.

Idea to shipped, the way it usually goes.

  1. Idea

What if onboarding just did this itself?

  2. Prompt

Draft the flow, the copy and the edge cases.

  3. Experiment

Three versions by lunch. Two are wrong.

  4. Build

The third one gets built properly.

  5. Ship

In front of paying customers on Friday.

If that is how you want to work.

How we hire.

Usually three conversations, not eight. A person reads every application.

  1. 01

    Apply

You get a confirmation the moment you submit. A person reads it within five working days, and if we are slower than that, chase us.

No keyword filtering, no auto-rejects on degrees or years.
  2. 02

    A short intro call

A conversation about what you want to be doing and whether this is that. Short, and with a human who can answer questions.

  3. 03

    The team you would join

You meet the people you would actually work with, and they are the ones deciding. Ask them the awkward questions.

  4. 04

Something close to the real work

A practical exercise that looks like the job rather than a puzzle. You will know what we are looking for before you start.

  5. 05

    An answer, either way

If it is a no, we tell you why. A no is about one role at one moment, and plenty of people join on a second attempt.

Things people ask before applying.

What if I do not match every requirement?

Apply anyway. The requirements list is a description of the problem, not a checklist for the person. Tell us what you would do about it.

Can I reapply?

Yes. Plenty of people join on their second attempt. Wait until something has changed in your work, then come back.

Who do I contact if something breaks?

Email [email protected]. That reaches the hiring team directly.

Outbox Labs started with a simple ambition: build meaningful, profitable businesses that solve problems worth solving.

That ambition still shapes how we work today.

We believe the best companies are built by people who are curious enough to question what exists, bold enough to experiment, and disciplined enough to turn great ideas into products customers truly value. We move with urgency, care deeply about execution, and stay focused on the long term.

At the heart of our philosophy is a simple principle: build painkillers, not vitamins. We look for real, important problems and create solutions that make a tangible difference. That focus has helped us build products that deliver value, earn customer trust, and grow sustainably.

But great products are only part of the story. The company we are building matters just as much.

We want Outbox Labs to be a place where ambitious people can do some of the best work of their careers, take meaningful ownership, learn quickly, challenge assumptions, and build alongside people who genuinely care about what they create.

There is still a great deal ahead of us. New products to build. New markets to explore. Hard problems to solve. And a company to shape together.

If that kind of journey excites you, we'd love for you to be part of it.
